Jac Jewell is one of the Hall Directors in Schneider Hall, and serves as the adviser to the Saluki Chapter of the National Residence Hall Honorary.
The end of the year is a time to celebrate the great things our students and staff members have done throughout the year. This year marks the second year of a student leader recognition banquet sponsored by the National Residence Hall Honorary (NRHH). NRHH invited student leaders and staff members from across campus to come to a banquet at the beginning of May. We recognized our outgoing and incoming Area Council members, Black Togetherness Organization (BTO) members, Residence Hall Association (RHA) members, and NRHH members.
Every month NRHH encourages campus and community members to nominate people and programs for Of the Month awards. A list of campus winners from the entire year was compiled, and nominators were asked to provide additional support for why each nominee should receive the Of The Year (OTY) recognition. NRHH spent two hours going through 55 nominations looking for the "best of the best" to showcase as our Of The Year winners in 15 different categories. The winners of these awards were recognized at our end of the year banquet. I am happy to share them with you now!
