February OTM Winners

SIU Residence Life has some great things going on, and we want to showcase some of our proud moments on our blog. We also hope people considering working in RA, graduate assistant, or full-time positions with our department will take a minute to learn more about the things we are doing. More information about our department, including position descriptions, application information, and graduate and full-time staff profiles can be found on our recruitment website.

Recognition is important in our department, and Of The Month awards are just one way we show support and appreciation for those who do great things. February was another great month - here are our Regional and Campus Winners!

Regional Winner

STDs: Don't Catch 'Em All! - Passive Program OTM, by Brittany Lemke and nominated by Justin Schuch

"By taking some time to think about what would resonate with community members, Resident Assistant Brittany Lemke decided on focusing the theme of her bulletin board around a "throw back" topic her residents would connect with. Of course, Pokemon came to mind. With numerous characters and Pokemon to focus energy on while creating the bulletin board, the iconic card game and television show found new life in Wall and Grand Apartments this month via sexually transmitted diseases."
