Once again, it's time to congratulate and recognize our September Of The Month winners!
Travis Gibler is the REGIONAL Advisor Of The Month for GLACURH. From the nomination: "This month, none can claim dedication and determination to helping their advisees as Travis Gibler". Great job Travis!
The Safety Blanket program, put on by RA Kensli Brown of Steagall Hall, won Educational Program Of the Month. Thanks for educating your residents on personal safety, Kensli!
Regina Marturano was recognized as SIU's First Year Student Of The Month. Regina serves as the President of the Schneider/UHall Area Council and has gotten really involved in her first few months on campus. (Honorable Mention for First Year Student Of The Month went to Jacob Carlson).
Schneider/UHall Area Council received the award for Organization Of The Month. "Alone they are one rain drop, but by bringing them together they are making a tremendous impact in our community" (from the nomination). The 2012 Marching Salukis also received organization recognition with a campus honorable mention.
Kalan Pivoney won the Resident Assistant Of The Month award for September, and was described as "Bringing her happiness into the workplace makes everyone around her in a good mood". Thanks for bringing your positive attitude to work, Kalan!
Residential Community Of The Month of September went to Neely Hall Staff. Amazing work, #TeamNeely!
Resident Assistant Josh Maxwell presented the September Social Program Of The Month, Tea Time. It sounds like a great way to relax and build community, Josh.
The September Spotlight Of The Month shines on Jameelah Boyd, custodial student worker in Schneider Hall.
Finally, Cari Kocolowski is last month's Student Of The Month. Thank you to Cari for bringing ideas and suggestions to Area Council and working to make West Campus better!
